Drive Safe and Save is a defensive driving course run under the auspices of The National Safety Council and follows all of its rules and regulations.  We offer a six-hour course, presented either as two evening classes or one full-day class.  Classes are held at the Hurleyville Firehouse in Hurleyville, NY.  Businesses and groups are eligible for special discounts, and can arrange for classes to be held at Drive Safe and Save or at their location.

Drive Safe and Save was created by Steve Gordon.   Steve has been giving multimedia presentations since he first taught sixth grade in Brooklyn in 1968.  He spent the next thirty-five years teaching, and dedicated himself to personalizing the school experience for his students.  Steve presents the Drive Safe and Save curriculum using the tools he learned through his many years in the classroom, and does so with precision and humor.  Drive Safe and Save was created with the student in mind.
